She isn’t afraid to ask why, to push back when it matters, and to seek better ways forward for both patients and the team.

Hannah thrives in connection. As Patient Care Coordinator, she loves creating what she calls a “Cheers” environment—a place where people are known, welcomed, and greeted by their first name. She listens with intention, honors each person’s story, and guides patients through next steps with care. Even when solutions take time, she makes sure patients feel supported, understood, and never alone.

Growth and collaboration are central to how Hannah works. Her time at Homer Eyecare has helped her build clear action plans, raise the bar for herself, and push beyond perceived limits. She values open communication, shared ideas, and the trust that forms when a team works together toward a common goal.

Serving the Homer community means honoring both its creativity and simplicity. Hannah finds joy in small-town connections—meeting new neighbors, recognizing longtime families, and sharing small but meaningful conversations. Her favorite simple joys include hiking local trails, sitting on her porch to read or reflect, and supporting the arts through local theater and performances. Her advice to visitors? Stop by the Bagel Shop and explore Eveline State Recreation trails—whether hiking in summer or snowshoeing in winter.

Traveling internationally with the Homer Eyecare team has further shaped Hannah’s perspective. A meaningful experience in a small town in New Zealand left a lasting impression: spending time in a local general store, sharing stories with the owner, and being welcomed into everyday moments of community life on the other side of the globe. That experience reinforced how powerful simple connection can be anywhere in the world—and deepened her appreciation for small towns like ours, where people truly see one another. It’s a perspective she carries into her work every day.

Outside of work, Hannah is happiest painting, spending time in nature, and exploring life’s deeper questions through philosophy, meditation, and thoughtful conversation. Calm yet fierce, empathetic yet resolute, she brings both heart and backbone to everything she does at Homer Eyecare.
