Originally from the wide-open plains of South Dakota, Anna brings warmth, energy, and an unmistakable sense of sunshine to Homer Eyecare. Known for her positivity, love of yellow, and open mindset, she naturally empowers others to believe in what’s possible. She’s happiest exploring quiet places, walking the beach with her beloved husband and adorable puppy, and connecting with the people around her.

What motivates Anna most is growth—both her own and that of the people she supports. In her role, she focuses on training, education, and communication, helping ideas and systems come together in thoughtful, strategic ways. She has a unique ability to see overarching systems and articulate them clearly, supporting both individual development and the team as a whole. While she jokingly calls herself an “agent of chaos,” her creativity is grounded and intentional, guided by purpose-driven leadership.

Anna believes strong teams are built on trust, collaboration, and having each other’s backs. She brings her authentic self to work every day, using humor, optimism, and intentional positivity to create a supportive, energizing environment. By listening closely, asking thoughtful questions, and meeting people where they are, she helps others feel seen, safe, and understood.

She loves Homer’s creativity and community spirit and finds simple joy in beach walks, collecting rocks and shells, and soaking in the natural beauty. Her advice to visitors? Take your time, explore the trails and beaches, and enjoy Homer at its own pace.

Having lived in Japan and traveled internationally with the Homer Eyecare team has deeply shaped Anna’s perspective. These experiences have challenged assumptions, expanded her cultural awareness, and reinforced her belief that growth comes from curiosity, openness, and genuine human connection.
