As soon as you call our office, you’ll hear Meagan—kind-hearted, patient, and fiery, with a warm southern twang—ready to answer your questions. As our Communications Director, she brings heart, clarity, and intention to every interaction, believing that a single smile or kind gesture can truly change someone’s day if not life.

Meagan’s journey has been shaped by immense growth—both personal and professional. As she travels with her husband through his service in the Coast Guard, Homer became one meaningful and unforgettable chapter along the way. Over the past few years, she has undergone one of the most significant transformations on our team, setting clear goals and pursuing them with confidence and purpose. Her work at Homer Eyecare has helped her grow into a leader beyond the workplace, grounding her decisions in connection, resilience, and long-term vision.

Being part of a supportive, communicative team means everything to Meagan. She values knowing she’s not alone through the highs and lows, and that her team will show up with honesty, encouragement, and accountability. She brings her authentic self to work every day—sweet southern accent included—keeping things very real, simple, and occasionally sassy.

Creative empathy guides how Meagan connects with patients. She listens closely, puts herself in their shoes, and validates what they’re experiencing—sometimes offering nothing more than the time and space to be heard and a warm, gentle smile. Serving the Homer community means showing up consistently, building trust, and forming genuine connections, even from afar. She holds a deep appreciation for Homer’s beauty and small-town spirit, where relationships truly matter and  extend well beyond the clinic walls.

Traveling internationally with the Homer Eyecare team has further broadened Meagan’s perspective, teaching her to slow down, listen more closely, and approach people and cultures with openness and understanding.

Outside of work, Meagan’s heart belongs to her family. When she’s not keeping us all in line with her charm and guidance, she’s loving on her three kiddos, her husband, and their pup, Chase—bringing the same devotion and care to home life that she brings to Homer Eyecare.
